I was lucky enough to be able to interview Zhong Chen this week for My City Life. He has been a three time finalist in the Archibald prize along with a bucketload of other art accolations. The next Art Series Hotel in Melbourne will be named after, and inspired by Chen and his artworks.
The one piece of gold from the interview that resonates with me, and I'm sure many of you, is Chen's advice to other artists - 'You just have to believe in what you are doing before someone else will believe in you.'
